TULSA, Okla. – Baylor men’s tennis senior Ryan Dickerson headlined play in the pre-qualifying draw of the ITA All-American Championships Friday through Sunday at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla.

The graduate transfer from Duke was one win short of the qualifying draw but went a combined 3-1 in two days of work in Tulsa. Dickerson opened the draw with a 6-2, 7-5 victory over George Mason’s Eddie Ayers and then took a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win against BYU’s Sam Tullis in the second round.

He rolled into the fourth and final round with a 6-4, 6-2 triumph over TCU’s Max Kurzban. Then, his run came to an end with a 6-4, 6-2 loss to South Carolina’s Connor Thomson.

In his collegiate debut, freshman Rahul Dhokia dropped a 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 loss to Tulane’s Tim Ruetzel in the opening round.

Christopher Frantzen dropped to 3-4 in fall action with a 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 loss to Cleveland State's Matthew Terry in the first round.

Frantzen and Dhokia were placed in the consolation draw, but all matches were cancelled due to rain.
