I'm curious. I always felt sorry for him because it seemed no scholarships were allocated to men's XC.

exactly. My impression was that Jon was handicapped on the recruiting trail with lack of scholly cash to offer. Baylor distance has not done well recently-- esp. men's. Hopefully Coach Ford is allotting more money towards distance runners. If I was the new coach, I'd make sure that happens before I signed on.

My understanding Jon was "let go".... that is the toughest thing about college sports.... you like one of the coaches and things don't work out and they have to move on.

Jon's parents moved here because of Jon being here. They are great folks. Hopefully a chance that Jon and all will stay here.
