Great start but i'm not getting too excited because he had a similar start last week and was looking really good for a few days - then it all came crashing down at the end.

That has been his unfortunate trend lately….gets himself in decent position going to the weekend….then starts a tailspin in the middle of his 3rd round.

He finished -3 and is currently T18 as the PM guys are starting

JW tees off at 1:25 today.

Justin Thomas is going off with a -6 round through 11 holes and has the lead to -11. Usually this course does not turn into a birdie fest....but looks it might be this year.

Cut is currently at -2. The wind is supposed to pick up this afternoon...so it may not move a whole lot more.

Jimmy sinks a 12' putt to save par on 9. At the turn he is -1 on his round and -4 for the tourney T37.

The cut has moved to -3.

JW finishes at -1 overall after a 73 today; another missed cut.
He missed makeable par putts on 3 holes on the back 9 of 6 feet, 9 feet, and 14 feet.

Couldn't have been worse, literally. JW is tied for last place after a +6(78). His last 2 holes he went triple bogey/bogey. My guess is he'll have to shoot -8(64) tomorrow to make the cut on the number. The low score today was -7(65).

Been wondering myself; expected to see him at Colonial. Maybe he's really cutting back his schedule (semi-retire?) until he's eligible for the Champions.

I believe this was his last year to retain his card by finishing in FedEx Top 125. He may have decided it's not worth the grind….or maybe there's an injury.

There was an article just last Fall where he was saying the fire to compete was still burning strong.
