If your pick isn't on the list, let us know who it is and then chime in on some of these.

I'd bet they'd run Harris up there. But Cooper is the only one I think they could win with. 2.5 years is an eternity in politics.

I think the Dems will nominate a corpse. That would continue the trend. He/ she will win with a record 82 million votes. I have no doubt.

In other words, you think dementia Joe will run again and he'll break his own record for ballots counted…….

Just for grins Michelle Obama amd Hillary. They will promise that America sucks real bad and only they can fix it with anti American slurs. The Chinese will back them amd Soros will fund the Clinton campaign so little Chelsea can have a trust fund. The fbi and cia will have all Clinton operatives. The truth will be a thing of the past. Rachel Maddow will be press secretary

I like our NC gov Roy Cooper.

He's been able to work constructively with a Republican legislature and has been wise in fights he's picked and fights he's avoided.

He's also won twice in a purple to reddish state.

He's not great in the charisma dept., but he's good in the winning elections and getting good things done departments.

I also like Amy Klobuchar. She's a moderate as well.

Cooper for sure will have a hard time winning a Democrat primary, for exactly the reasons you like him. The liberal wing of the Democrats don't yet realize they've lost the party to the progressives.....

Klobuchar has a better chance to win a primary but her performance last go around did not give any reason to think she is anything other than potential VP candidate...to get a (very capable) woman on the ticket. She has the gravitas thing going on for her for sure.

I think it comes down to Harris and PB. Harris has her short-comings, but possession is 9/10ths of things and she is on top of the pile. She will not be easy to knock out. PB is a committed progressive, a prerequisite in the Dem primary, but he is so gifted at glib he will be able to talk around it in the general (facilitated by a cooperative press). most importantly, he is the only serious player on the stage at the moment who has an intersectional play ("first gay POTUS") that makes it possible for one to support him instead of KH without compromising progressive creds.

Cooper would be a good choice. The Democrats need a moderate, common sense voice of reason.

(LOL @ Klobuchar as a moderate)

They had a couple like that last go around. They were the first guys out. Unless things have significantly changed in 4 years, he has no chance.

It will be interesting to see. The last election already feels like it was a long time ago, so I wonder how fractured both parties will be in 2024. Republicans might actually be a good bit more united than today, and we will see if Biden can do enough to keep progressives from raging against him and other establishment Democrats, or if the progressives will truly try to take control of the party.

How that plays out will largely determine how the Democrat primary goes. Long time until then.

I think you might be DRAMATICALLY underestimating the Democratic hate for Joe Manchin. Im not saying there is no chance. I am saying there is a better chance that you get to heaven and Jesus is a Mexican porn star. There's a better chance of being mauled by a polar bear and a regular bear in the same day. There is a better chance of Arabs recognizing Israel and offering them Saudi Arabia as a homeland.

I did not say they would win, The Democratic Party will push more progressive and quack quack rank and file Democrats will vote for it, even if they don't agree with it Because it's the representative of their party.

If they dont like the canidate, Republicans are more likely to vote for another candidate than Democrats. Democrats are more likely to stay home and not vote at all.

Michelle and Harris are the ultimate "FU America, - You Suck" ticket. Should they win, it is over. Time to relocate to another country.

I hope and pray there is no Biden, Harris, or Trump on the 2024 ballot.

Pretty much anyone with a pulse would beat Trump in 2024, particularly in light of the inevitable non-stop 24/7 media assaults which would ensue.

As for Democrats - Tulsi Gabbard stands out. Don't know anything about Cooper.

Isn't he the one who made a billion dollars off his radio show and then fled from CA to....Texas?

I would have expected him, as a Bernie man (wasn't he), too give 99% of that money away to charity and stay in CA. Not move to TX.

All talk and no walk on the left.

That being said, I've heard some of my conservative friends posit the same thing. If MO is ever put on the ticket, God help us indeed.

I'm sure JR will be stoked if this happens though.

it would be interesting to see if the Anti American racist baiter Obama could entice 82 M votes her way. That would be her hubbys 2 terms, plus this one that her husband has screwed up. Then add hers....has any President ever had a direct hand in 4 or 5 terms? i just dont think Obama / Soros/ Clinton are the answer. Not saying Trump is either just someone who has no American hate needs to lead us forward

In Michelle Obama's narrative, black people can't go to the store just to feed their families without a white supremacist gang harassing them or drive their car to work just to pay the bills without fear a white cop will shoot them with no regard.

She worries her children will be profiled when driving around town. B**** - you live in Martha's Vineyard, the whitest place in America. If a cop were to even give your kids a parking ticket, they would be demoted to Alaska if you wanted.

Michelle Obama is the worst actress for a politician and that's saying A LOT!

Yep. Obama's are all about dividing the nation. They are excellent at doing this and are a massive reason we are at each other's throats today.
