For those of you, like me, that voted for Trump simply because of the Supreme Court, "Yo! Adrian, I did it!"

BHO was right, elections have consequences. What an amazing day to piss people off.

6/24 was known as f day, now it is life day. What a time to be alive.
Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

I was not convinced that Trump would appoint good justices... it was my biggest concern about him as a candidate. I'm so glad that I was wrong.. so very wrong!

I thought it would take a very long time to get rid of Roe.... sorta like praying for the wall to fall in Berlin... and then it just happened when no one was looking!

Now that you mention it, there are some similarities between both of those major events.

In the case of the Berlin Wall - the greatest symbol of Soviet Bloc oppression - the thinking was that it was always going to be there no matter what and we just had to accept "coexistence" with the evil Soviet Empire and all that was entailed with doing so. Then we elected the right POTUS - Ronald Reagan - who promised and executed a plan to defeat that evil empire without firing a shot which somewhat suddenly came to full fruition during the term of his successor (GHW Bush) in spectacular fashion.

In the case of Roe the thinking was we all just had to accept that it's always going to be there despite the fact that even it's most ardent supporters couldn't possibly make a legitimate constitutional argument for it. Then we elected the right POTUS - Donald Trump - who promised and executed a plan to nominate constitutionalist justices (actually the ONLY kind of justices that should be on the court). Then somewhat suddenly Roe correctly went down during the term of his successor in spectacular fashion.

Both of these major events are also reminders that as a country we do occasionally get it right.

This is EXACTLY why so many voted for Trump. And they got what they worked so hard for. Not sure it was to piss anyone off but if not murdering your own children pisses people off then, Godspeed!!!

He didn't appoint particularly conservative justices. At least with kavanaigh. That was a Bush Klan appeasement. Just like Roberts, very far from conservative

Can't understand all the celebrations .

Within 15 years there will be a more liberal Supreme Court and federally mandated abortion will be re established.

Possibly state rights got a major boost....but even that is temporary .

So, are you suggesting that everyone who opposes both murdering the unborn and legal infanticide should just admit inevitable defeat, give up, and sit back and let it happen? The left sure never thinks that way - even when they get their head handed to them on a platter.

That's all there is to it .

But they are fing stupid.

And getting increasingly stupid generation by generation .

So we are going to have abortion , legalized narcotics, open borders, an ever expanding mental health crisis and full on socialism .

And that wouldn't potentially happen had Roe been kept or even expanded instead of going down in flames?

Not getting your point. You take the generation W's when you get them and Trump made this happen. What a legacy!!!!!

Yep, you take the W's and you keep fighting - doesn't matter if "the majority" is opposed to you or not - when "the majority" is clearly wrong.

And the pro-life / pro-choice issue is pretty split down the middle. Plus I'm certain "the majority" isn't in favor of infanticide. I do agree we have way too many moron voters and their numbers are growing. How else do you explain elected officials like Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and Maxine Watters?

Yes, Trump made this happen .

But hasn't almost everything else he accomplished been altered ?

The same is going to happen in regards to this SC decision .....and it certainly isn't going to take a generation .

The majority of people in the US want abortion . Politicians want to stay in office. Abortion is never going to be abolished across the US.

Sadly it won't with this either and they will have to answer eventually as we all will. Ot for leniency for them and for me. I hope there is mercy. At a minimum I can personally try to save the lives of the unborn as best I can and more that have the courage to speak up for right whether this, against BLM, Antifa, wokeness, CRT, fake news, aa promotions and hires, etc, the better the world will be

As long as presidents take actions by "getting out their pen" for executive orders, they will have many of their programs reversed with a new president. Until laws are put back into the hands of Congress where they belong, it will be this way.

Congress is the buffer to bad laws, and is closer to the will of the people of the various states. It is harder for laws to be passed and repealed for a reason.

And yes, though the term "law" is not used for executive orders and executive department regulations, they effectively act as such if they are not adhered to by individuals or businesses.
