she will get beat tonight thanks to the Bully. That lady has more integrity than Trump and most of his acolytes. I appreciate her doing what is right and not buying the "Trump Party", which is NOT Republican. She very well may run for POTUS. I'd vote for her in a heartbeat!
Are you really gonna vote for Dementia Joe and his flying monkeys again? C'Monnnnnnnn Mannnnn!!!!! Orange man bad!! LOL!!!!!

Does integrity usually involve doing a national investigation against someone you hate and not allowing the other side to be involved or to provide any evidence and selectively edit videos/evidence etc? Asking for Lady Justice

FYI - I think there should be an investigation into all of it but a real bipartisan investigation.
yes. Did you miss the Trump fuel insurrection?
When was this?
Jan 6th, bro! There is actually real video footage of it. Give it a look.
Mmm, yes. That is not an insurrection.

Not to the cultists, but to everyone else who deals in reality and facts, it was.
If 65% of a state's voters don't see it the way you do, then you are probably the cult member rather than the 65%,
thank you for making my point.
if you had one, nobody knows what it is..

A super majority of her constituents said she was not their choice. Democracy in action!

Shows a couple of things:

The great courage of Liz Cheney to stand up for the truth and to stand against Trump's lies.

The definite death of the Republican Party as a meaningful party centered on policy. Cheney's only sin was opposing Trump. That was it. She voted with Trump's policies at least 90% of the time.

The Republican Party has completed its transition to a personality cult around Donald Trump in which loyalty to Trump and embrace of his election lies is the test of faith. Trumpism has become a religion centered on Trump.

This bodes ill for the party and the country.

Liz Cheney voted with Trump consistently.

The only thing she opposed was Trump's attemped coup to stay in power/prevent a peaceful transition to the duly elected POTUS.

And she investigated his/members of his admin's criminal conduct related to the Big Lie.

And you boys are celebrating her (temporary political) demise and the demise of the rule of law.

That's just sad and embarrassing.

I predict Trump Republicans are going to wish they'd left Cheney in Congress and not lined up to kiss the buttocks of the Dear Leader.
I hope so.

Trump's lies have blinded them to the fact that under Trump they lost the House, the Senate, and the White House.

We're in trouble when most of the people in the Republican Party believe the 2020 election was stolen. Their only proof: Trump said it was.

Nope. As others have stated, it's not about defending trump as much as it's all about seeing the corruption and lies of democrats. You small minds were claiming W had a cult following, too. McCain was a racist sexist Nazi, so was Romney, according to you leftists. When normal people stop believing your lies, it's time for you to reflect on your behavior, not for everyone else to be labeled cultists.

Unfortunate. A little humility is appropriate after this election.

The established members of the uniparty never take a moment to reflect on their own actions.

Just take a look at the Afghanistan humiliation…they did not even spend 5 mins before they were advocating we get involved in Ukriane.
Mediocre bland personality, mediocre speaking ability, snarky WT type disposition, overblown ego, born with a silver spoon of uber privledge, enriched herself off of her position in politics.

Heck this is a lower level GWB without the nice awe shucks personality.

We don't need this for president if that is what she is hinting at.

Trump didn't beat Liz.....the Republican party didn't beat Liz .

Liz beat Liz by making it obvious her focus was NOT on the people of Wyoming .

Folks in the Windy West got eyes , ears and a boat load of common sense .

They saw a DC elite using them as a platform for her own agenda .

The death of the conservative a.k.a. Republican party is being greatly overstated. As a reminder, President Trump gave us the most conservative Supreme Court we've had in decades. Many of his policies were beneficial to all Americans, not just the elites and Wall Street. All the above were once conservative SCOTUS values. They're all gone now.

As for other classic conservative values and Trump:

I'll admit that you do have a valid broader point that your post confirms.

Trump merely has found an audience to grift: Republicans.

The core problem is that Republicans have drifted much farther to the right than in the Bush administrations and Romney's time.

Can you imagine W winning the Republican nomination today with a theme of "compassionate conservatism"?

No way!

Republicans have become a party that has given up on facts and reality, and live in a fantasy world that rejects both. They've also become a "zero sum game" party in which anything the opposing party does is evil and anyone in the Republican party is good.

Ideas that were once on the fringes of the Republican Party are now mainstream.

So you're right in that Trump isn't the ultimate problem. The ultimate problem is the delusional Republican base.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2016/09/15/harry-reid-lied-about-mitt-romneys-taxes-hes-still-not-sorry/

Harry Reid lied about Mitt Romney's taxes. He's still not sorry.

One of the strangest incidents of the 2012 presidential campaign was when then-Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid accused then-Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney of having not paid any taxes over the past decade. That Reid made that allegation from the floor of the Senate made it even odder.

The problem with Reid's allegation? It's just not true. We know that, at least in 2011 and 2010, Romney did pay taxes. How do we know that? Because Romney released his tax returns for those years. In 2011, Romney paid $1.9 million in taxes; in 2010, he paid slightly more than $3 million in taxes.

Our own Fact Checker gave Reid Four Pinocchios for his "no taxes" claim. PolitiFact gave the claim a "Pants on Fire" rating.

Yet Reid (D-Nev.) not only refuses to retract the allegation but also seems to take great pride in it. When pressed by CNN's Dana Bash last year about continuing to defend a statement that is not true, Reid responded, "Romney didn't win, did he?"
'
Now, in a new interview with WaPo's Ben Terris, Reid echoes those sentiments. Here's Reid's full response to Ben's question about the Romney attack:

People bring that up, it's one of the best things I've ever done. Why? Because I knew what he had done was not be transparent and forthright about his taxes and to this day he hasn't released his tax returns. … Did I want to do that? No. I had the information, I tried to get somebody else to do it. I tried to get somebody in the Obama 'reelect,' I tried to get one of the senators, I tried to get one of the outside groups, but nobody would do it. So I did it. And with that, like everything, I think in life, here's something I learned from my father, if you're going to do something, don't do it half-assed, don't play around. With the Mitt Romney stuff, I didn't play around. ...

The death of the conservative a.k.a. Republican party is being greatly overstated. As a reminder, President Trump gave us the most conservative Supreme Court we've had in decades. Many of his policies were beneficial to all Americans, not just the elites and Wall Street. It is true that those benefited as well but not in the same manner that they are currently benefiting under the Biden administration while the middle class are being economically destroyed.
How then can you explain Cheney's defeat? She supported all Trump's policies. Her only sin was opposing his election lies.

Also, it's questionable how classically conservative SCOTUS is:

Judicial Restraint: Gone

Respect for precedent: Gone

Separation of church and state: Gone

Avoidance of judicial activism: Gone

All the above were once conservative SCOTUS values. They're all gone now.

FWIW, the Warren court abrogated all those principles many many years before Trump.

No. It's about Trump. There's never been a cult following like of Trump. You're revising history.

I never called McCain or Romney a racist sexist Nazi. Neither did anyone in the mainstream of the Democratic Party.

Republicans themselves turned on W because of the debacle of the Iraq War.

The difference is you have zero facts to back up your claims. Zero.
No mainstream leftists called McCain and Romney sexist, racist or Nazis? You cannot be so stupid as to believe everyone forgot, can you? Never mind our lying eyes, trust the leftist with zero credibility.
Links? Sources?

You have none.

Again, you have no facts.
Oh right I forgot, democrats have been extremely respectful and honest about republicans, what was I thinking? Sure, everything I've stated happened daily at certain points in recent history but your "nuh uh!" is such an impenetrable defense, gosh, I just don't know what I was thinking!
Facts?

{Crickets chirping}
"Nuh uh!" Is not any kind of bolstering of your astoundingly ignorant opinion that democrats treated republican presidents and candidates any differently than I have described. Try again.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

The current administration shows the truth of the matter. Failure after failure to the detriment of Americans, all because your fragile egos couldn't handle reading mean tweets. "Compassionate conservatives" led to Obama getting elected. No thanks.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

Would you consider the current President to be a mainstream member of the Democratic Party? As Vice President, he told a black church congregation Romney was going to put them back in chains.

You're either a liar or an idiot. So which is it? I'm willing to believe either.
Sic Everyone.

she will get beat tonight thanks to the Bully.

Would love to. When do you think all of it will be released?
