this school is K-6th grade so doesn't sound like it was a student.
Can't identify her yet - but when the Trade Centers went down we new who did it within an hour....apparently had 2 assault rifles and a handgun on persons....big 6th grader then...
Last report is that shooter was 28 years old.

I dont recall there ever being a woman shooter of really any kind which is why I would guess it's a man turned woman. But now that you mention Islamic, there was a woman shooter with that other Islam guy in Calif about 10 years ago.ron.reagan said:

At least three children and three adults are dead after a shooting at a private Nashville grade school, authorities said Monday. The shooter, a 28-year-old female, is also dead, authorities said.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said on Twitter that the "active shooter event" at the Covenant School ended with the shooter dead after being "engaged" by police.
Three "pediatric patients" with gunshot wounds were transferred to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt, according to medical center spokesperson Craig Boerner. "All three were pronounced dead after arrival," Boerner said. Authorities confirmed later that three adults had died.

The gun debate is the problem.
We can't ban guns in our country even if we wanted to, just like we can't get a handle on illegal lethal drugs. One it's unconstitutional and there would be massive black market for them no matter what law is created. It might even amplify the problem.
Our best option is security. Metal detectors, alarms, strict protocol on locks/entry, guards etc.

Hundreds of millions of guns in our country and massive non compliance with any future legislation aimed at guns. Yes our culture is a HUGE problem. Maybe you haven't noticed, but the entire US has been getting more ghetto over the years: our schools are crap, our social services are garbage and our governments are not doing their job no matter how much money we give them.
