Mr. Trump is making Democratic Senate leader Chuck Schumer's day because a Paxton primary victory puts the Texas Senate seat in play. Mr. Paxton has been impeached by his own party and has a history of personal and political scandals. Many Republicans may stay home rather than vote for him, and we understand the impulse.
The same Repubs have held their noses to vote for Trump with his issues because of the well liked MAGA platform, they will come out for Paxton. The alternative is the left's America. Not voting is simply the logic of the stupid and defeated.
Christine O'Donnell, Todd Akin, Richard Murdock, and now Paxton.
Sometimes Independents won't hold their noses and vote for a flawed candidate.
Sure, independents are dull-witted people who pride themselves on their "independence" and enlightenment, thinking short-term vs long-term. Sometimes in war you get muddy leaders, and if you don't think it's a culture war for the heart of America, you are a dumb-@$$. And the only people effectively fighting, imperfectly as it may be, for your kids future, is the MAGA voters.
Independents who sit these elections out will gladly give their kids to the progressive state, because at the end of the day, they are rudderless and conviction-less, thinking falsely, both parties are the same. (and that's coming from me, tfhpb, a guy who believes both parties are under the thumb of globalists, but one, the left, is a quick path to permanent destruction, while the other leaves room for hope and the ability to get back to better values. We can come back from some of the right's compromises, but the left will flood and rig our system to fail.)
If the left wins, there is no coming back, you see that across Western Europe. Countries are shells of their former selves. Their entire cultures being wiped away. Their cities are crap holes. Their religious liberties nearly gone.
Thank goodness for the imperfect MAGA crowd and the strategic nose-holder voters. They've changed culture, even if only temporarily, through a blustering man like Trump and his supporters. Young men are glad to be masculine again, young women are glad to be feminine again, liberty matters again. Gotta keep the pressure on the left.
Independents who don't take a side are soy. They will give up the country.

acting like Independent voters are some monolithic voting block whose sole driver is dissatisfaction with the two established parties on most issues is incredibly dumb (even for you).
