That's not how I would say it, but I do believe there is a mass delusion over the Epstein files on both the left and the right, which Massie probably understands, and that Massie is nevertheless pimping it out hard nationwide. Maybe, the thought crossed my mind as well.

But it's one of the heaviest Red districts in the nation, and Massie went against the party too many times. Sometimes you have to vote with the party to protect the momentum. He did everything he could to derail the momentum. On principle of course he'd say.

I'm not happy he lost, just not sure if he's been more hurtful or helpful.

I think Massie's political problem was not his principled positions but that he waned to sort of be the GOP AOC. The Epstein grandstanding made him seem unserious. If he had just focused on budgets and spending, but it became clear he thought he was performing for social media.

I get he's upset, but this is just typical from a guy who fought just to be known as a fighter, he needs to ask his voters why they voted him out. They clearly had their reasons, and I don't believe it was just because there was another guy with more money.

And the ballroom is a democrat talking point, completely irrelevant to most red voters, in fact most people were likely surprised that we didn't have a ballroom at the white house already. It's obviously not a bad idea.
