John Elway while addressing the press yesterday was asked about Colin K and if he could be a candidate for a back up this year. Elway said that they tried to trade for him back in 2106 and Kap turned it down.

Isn't this the 2nd or 3rd team that has said they have offered him and he turned them down? Is he just that adamant on getting a starting job or is he trying to make himself a martyr and not wanting to play?

He turned it down because it was a pay cut from 11.9 MILLION to 7 MILLION.

The moron would still have been making 7 MILLION a year and instead has been out of work for years. Imagine where this imbecile would be in life if he didn't have athletic talent and rich parents.

Tim Tebow says hi. In a way.

Some people just get so fixated on their end goal, they miss the forest for the trees.

Tebow would still be in the league, and probably pretty successful, if he'd switched to TE, WR, or RB/FB.

K would too. But he wouldn't be nearly as "famous" as he is now.

Some people are more concerned about continuing a storyline rather than doing what is best for themselves. The story that no one will hire him sells better than being a backup qb.

Tebow tried being a backup for a while and it didn't go to well for him.

Didn't he also try TE with New England and they cut him?

Kap tweeted out his QBR and Elway's QBR. His is higher (after only a few seasons not 16) and he has no pro bowls or super bowl wins. Unlike Elway.

It hasn't gone very well for him as everyone has been giving him flack on Twitter for his tweet
