Well, I was wrong.

Trump's approval rating has actually sunk 5 points after the release of the Mueller report:

"The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law," the Mueller report reads.

"Among those voters who have seen, read or heard at least something about the release of the Mueller report, only 28 percent say they actually read any of the redacted report. Most of them, 73 percent, say they followed news coverage about it."

This was the most interesting quote from the story. This means that the people's whose opinions changed from the last poll still haven't even read the report, but rather, have relied on others to tell them what's in the report and how they should feel about it. This is what's wrong with our country.

You are basing the claim on one poll, and far from a major, established poll at that.

Rassmussen shows little change

Same for Gallup

Politico is an outlier at best, and a bad liar most likely.

Mueller suggests a pattern of behavior by Trump to harm the investigation.
Vol. II, Page 157: The incidents were often carried out through one-on-one meetings in which the President sought to use his official power outside of usual channels. These actions ranged from efforts to remove the Special Counsel and to reverse the effect of the Attorney General's recusal; to the attempted use of official power to limit the scope of the investigation; to direct and indirect contacts with witnesses with the potential to influence their testimony. Viewing the acts collectively can help to illuminate their significance.

Have you read the report?

Because I'm guessing most Trump supporters / fans haven't, either. They are trusting Trump's view that the report exonerates him completely. It doesn't. What it says is that, if he or his operatives didn't collude, it was because they were inept. And that Trump tried to obstruct justice, but was prevented from doing so by staff who realized Trump's M.O. is to indirectly order people to do something, and then to claim he didn't ask them to do anything and let them suffer the consequences. That's why Cohen is in jail.

I have read the report. I'm not a trump supporter. It is clear by your comments you haven't read the report but you are instead relying on what Maddow told you.

Now back to my post you quoted, my point was since many of the people who responded to the poll hadn't read the report, their apparent change in opinion wasn't based on what was actually contained in the report, but rather, based on what had been told to them. It's a sad day for our democracy that people's opinions are so easily influenced by the morons on tv (both on the left and the right).

You don't know me. I don't advocate for guns everywhere. I advocate for responsible gun ownership and I advocate for people having the ability to protect themselves from others that want to do them harm.

However, you advocate regularly for the rights of one human to kill another. You are old and you will meet your maker soon. You will have to answer for the shtty choices you have made. I've never fought for the right of one human to kill another. You have. You will have to answer for that, not me. On top of that, you will have to answer for a lifetime of racism and hate. I'm far from perfect, but I'm glad I won't have to answer for obvious crimes against humanity like you will have to.
