He told Howard Fineman that if he spent a day in prison he was going to turn Trump over. He was due to start his sentence on Monday. Additionally the SCt just said NY can proceed to prosecute Trump. He is probably obstructing Justice again by tampering with a witness. It is also a sign that Trump knows his time in the WH is over.
Rick Gates testified during the Mueller investigation he overheard a call between Trump and Stone during a car ride. On the call, Gates said the two discussed among other things, Wikileaks' role in the campaign. Gates told the Court that at the conclusion of the call, Trump told him that Wikileaks would be releasing more documents shortly.
Trump, in his written testimony, said he had no knowledge or in involvement in the goings on of Wikileaks.
Stone could have told the truth and done irreparable damage to Trump. It's why he felt free to lie and witness tamper. He knew Trump would complete the quo. Even the soulless, Bill Barr called Stone's trial a "righteous prosecution."
This is the best indication yet that Trump knows he going to lose.

Which ones got leniency because they openly threated POTUS with leverage they have over him like Stone did?
This is as out in the open as corruption can be. Stone says to Trump (through a media interview) that he stayed loyal when he could have not been and deserves a commutation, so the guy he stayed loyal to obliged with a commutation. Even Nixon never did what Trump has done for Flynn/Stone/et al, and that's because Trump is literally our most corrupt POTUS ever.
