I watched Elegy. It is really good. I think liberals perceived it as a conservative book and decided to pan it.

I wouldn't hang death of culture on this.

For one thing, that's a small audience sample on Hillbilly.

The first group of people to see a film wanted to see it and want to like it.

The negative reviews I've seen have not been about it's values, but that it isn't well done.

I read the book, and was kind of "meh" about it. It's a remarkable story of the author's rise and what he overcame. But I didn't see much positive in his family, particularly his grandmother.

There was certainly nothing uplifting in a spiritual sense.

I live in the midst of that culture, and see much more the underside than the author presents.

Better examples of a culture gone to seed are OAN and Newsmax.

Said the guy who likes to spout opinions in the face of confirmed data 'cause he doesn't really understand data.

Small sample on Hillbilly, I'll accept.

What about the discrepancy for "woke" critics on Cuties versus those who saw it? Cuties is pedophilia porn.

Let's see. As an alleged minister, you support the killing of unborn children, the sexual exploitation and rape of born children and the isolation and stunting of mental and spiritual growth of children (so really old people can go to Kroger). Hey, at least you're consistent.

I've never seen OAN or Newsmax.

I think we just disagree on Elegy. I thought it explained a lot about the Trump voters turning out against Hilary, but I see where you're coming from

"Better examples of a culture gone to seed are OAN and Newsmax."

Or CNN, MSNBC, et al.

And to a far greater extent.

AZ hearings are a freak show of D's being verbally mauled. 100 witnesses have testified and you can hear the gasps of the audience. Look for AZ to take back their certification after this.
