As an aside, if you look through the story, the pictures of the two left wing candidates who lost are a study in smugness. One can almost hear both say, "check your privilege!"

Glad to hear this. There is a similar fight going on right now in my neck of the woods. Leander, an until recently rural suburb of Austin, has somehow allowed the woke to take over their school board. Although predominantly conservative, the conservatives sat idly by and allowed candidates to run unopposed. It's resulted in a woke school board that has allowed all sorts of crap into the reading curriculum.

It's time for conservatives in our local govts. to get in the game.
