Peter Tosh says "Legalize It", so I must concur. Not much different than booze, IMO. Tax it and get on with it. It will be legal in all states in 20yrs. I have a mountain house in a small town in Colorado and it is everywhere, I mean everywhere.

I have a pretty intensely long history with chronic low back pain post 2 failed back surgeries, have posterior tibial tendinitis in both ankles, had four unrelated foot surgeries, have arthritis in both hands, have had 2 right knee surgeries and here's what I have to say about medical marijuana products like this here in https://www.bonzaseeds.com/blog/blueberry-haze/.. some of it is like using whatever over the counter stuff works best for your pain if there is something that does. Some isn't made with any THC and some is (depends on who is making it). You can get either one. If for any reason you have to drug test don't do it having had used something with THC in it. Whether it works for one person or not is probably pretty subjective though I have heard a lot of people say it does work for their discomforts. I find it helps my hands/fingers re arthritis. For my low back I often use a Thermacare heatwrap (has magnets) and that seems to help me quite a bit. I don't think medical marijuana properties or ointment is snake oil tho I would suggest getting it from a reputable collective or person knowledgeable in this industry. Good luck!!!! Whatever helps you to keep moving and stay functional and isn't creating worse problems for you! Medical marijuana products is pretty benign from what I can tell so if it works for you that's great!

Never toked and not going to start now. Whether or not you do doesn't concern me. Let police work on real issues. Let farmers grow it by the bale and put all the criminals making a living off it out of business

If you are a Republican and you are for a limited government and a government that allows you to have guns (which are much more deadly than Marijuana), then you can't be anti-Marijuana. Marijuana is just as safe, if not safer, than alcohol, and it should be regulated like alcohol is. Stronger and more dangerous drugs can still be illegal, but Marijuana does not fall into that category.

Although it is less common for Democrats to be against legal Marijuana, some still are. And if you are a democrat and you are ok with abortions on the grounds that the government shouldn't tell a woman what she can and can't do with her body, then you have to let adults use Marijuana if they want to.

These two arguments, which are fundamental beliefs of both parties, should be enough to get well over 50% of the population on board to legalizing Marijuana. If you are a true believer in limited government and individual rights, then you have to be on board with legalizing Marijuana. If you aren't, you are just a hypocrite who picks and chooses pet issues under the guise of limited government and individual rights.

Legalize it. Tax it. Use it responsibly.

I would be the first to invest in it.

I'm sorry you went through that. I've seen many people have similar issues with alcohol and prescription drug abuse. But they haven't been jailed because those things are legal. I've also seen several people that are extremely functional and smoke weed all the time. My point is, there are people across the spectrum with anything that could be abused (alcohol, smoking, drinking, sex, porn, working, drugs, etc), yet Marijuana, which is just as harmless as many of the other things listed when taken in moderation, is illegal. It doesn't make sense.

I don't smoke weed or drink much personally, but I believe we should all have the freedom to do it.
