No one in the media or the country in general ever seems to ask how all these politicians become multi millionaires after long careers on mediocre federal salaries.

Notice how no one in EITHER party asks such questions about their political adversaries ?

Simple, because they ALL are pocketing cash.

I'd love to see expose's on all of them. We used to have intelligence agencies for that, right?

A little mention of other politicians making bank off the stock market in there, too.

The intelligence agencies have been increasingly politically compromised for at least 20 years . There is nothing independent or special about them any more . Just another gaggle of bureaucrats far more concerned about collecting their pensions than anything else.

The national media which once cared about the truth ......has chosen 'sides' .

Not because of a belief in any particular ideology .....but for corporate profits ( control the loyalty of your particular audience and advertising revenue increases ) .

And in this vacuum politicians have gone berserk lining their pockets.

Good grief look at Biden's net worth or that of Maxine Waters.

Whether one hates or loves these people shouldn't some basic questions be asked ?

And liberals went after Romney and Trump because they were rich.

At least they didn't acquire their wealth off the financial generosity of DC lobbysits, special interest groups and foreign countries looking for political influence.

Trump wasn't wrong about the Deep State. Our problems today are tied in with the win Trump had in 2016. Trump tried to expose this deep state and corruption. The FBI clintons Obama amd Soros all tied in together. With the CCP. Our voting against this is only way to get out away from the dumbassery of Biden and the democrats to destroy our country amd how we live. We are on the brink of falling into a deep pit. Nothing this current admin has done is pro American.

Controlling the levers of power in the US is much better for business than attempting to defeat us militarily. Our foreign adversaries figured this out some time ago and feed the pipeline to power and influence using various sources: campaign financing, consultancy fees to non-profits established by families of politicians, contracts awarded to friends and families of the politically connected, buying artwork from non-artists, etc, etc, etc.

Even running a losing campaign for office can be quite lucrative, (see Beato O'Rourke). The upshot is that most of this activity is perfectly legal and that which isn't rarely gets investigated.

Amen Brother. Our freedoms are slowly being taken away and it appears the majority are naive and compliant. They just do not see it. Some are waking up but most continue to defend it.

I've said it for a while, the two parties exist to keep each other in power. They offer a message that is different enough to give the impression that they are in opposition, but in reality, both after the same goal - staying in power and enriching themselves. They let the other side win every 2-6 years to keep the general population content, because they know even in a loss they are still making a lot of money for themselves. They probably make more money when they lose because it takes more money to defeat the "evil" other side. Term limits would be a good start to fixing this.

But that will never happen, because we all know who would have to vote in such limits.

But it gets worse. There are a lot of federal judges, even SCOTUS Justices, who have far more money than their salaries can explain.

So I would not count on being saved by the Judicial branch, either.

The actions and inactions of the judicial branch toward all of the evidence for fraud and cheating in the 2020 election should tell you all you need to know about how much they can be counted on as a last line of defense.

There are a relative few on both sides who I believe are generally genuine to their causes and are actually primarily focused on and trying to deliver for their constituents, but they're a small minority at most. The rest are good with the rhetoric of making themselves sound like and appear to be whatever they perceive the majority of their constituents want them to be, but when they get to DC it's universally about playing the game that leads to power and more importantly personal enrichment.

Man she got one hell of a return on her investments from her public servant salary. She could teach me a few things.

Because we have legions of Americans who believe coincidence is the best explanation for every crime committed by democrats.
