Late Night Camp Notes
Gavin Byers is a big kid and still a little raw. He's going to need a couple of years to round into the OL we all think he can be. This isn't a knock, as any OL needs time. He almost goes out of way to be a physical and he tossed some kids today. Jahdae Barron and Dajon Harrison came to camp and earned offers. Grayson and I spoke with their coach at the event and Baylor sits in a good position now. Both are tight with Jaylen Ellis. We lined up interviews with both, but the weather turned nasty and poured on us and Taye McWilliams. Taye McWilliams is also a kid from the Austin area that moved to Rosenberg and is close to Barron, Harrison, and Ellis as well. Baylor is going to attempt to get them all.Jordan Crook is built, but a little short currently. He could get after it, but hasn't been offered yet.Jack Tucker is a 2021 I expect to get an offer. He was pulled to the first group of OL and taken away several times for one on one work with coaches Bell and DeLeone. He measured just over 6-6, but was 6-7 elsewhere.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
