Official Visit December 10-12: Running Recruiting Thread
Baylor will host its first group of official visitors since the the two it had in June. This will be the last opportunity for the staff to make an impression on prospects who plan to sign on December 15th, when the early signing period opens. I will update the list as I get more confirmations throughout the next week and a half.CommitsFrisco Independence CB Reggie Bush II DeSoto S Devyn Bobby The Woodlands OL Kaden Sieracki UncommittedLangham Creek DL Paul Oyewale Killeen Ellison DL Devonte Tezino

Notes on new 2022 offer Paul Oyewale
I finally got the chance to talk to Baylor's newest 2022 offer, defensive lineman Paul Oyewale, out of Houston (TX) Langham Creek High School. "I'm very excited about the offer, it's a huge honor!," he said. "I've talked to coach Vince Guinta, and I've met a couple others , but I like their coaching staff, they seem very direct. "The 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect shows a lot on film but there are a couple things the staff loved to see on film which led to his offer."They said they like my effort level and my approach to the games," he said. "It's a big deal to me!"The underrated prospect let me know that he has not been posting all of his offers. His first two offers were UNLV and Houston Baptist but he has received many more in the recent months. Currently he is up to 12 offers, the list includes: Duke, Washington State, Tulane, Louisiana, Wyoming, Marshall, and Rice among others.Oyewale still has a little ways to go in his recruitment as he wants to take visits to some of his top schools before deciding. Currently he has trips to Duke, Wyoming and Baylor coming up as he will be in Waco for the Oklahoma game on the 13th.Along with his offers he has also been hearing from a number of schools such as LSU, Ole Miss, Houston, and South Carolina so there may be more offers on the way.The Bears are in a good spot early but his lengthy offer list and schools reaching out to him definitely makes his recruitment a little less clear. The visit for the Oklahoma game will be a big one for the staff to have the chance to take over in his recruitment. Oyewale will take more visits throughout the Fall and potentially for official visits as well but he will be a key target for the Baylor staff going forward to close out the 2022 class.https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12341469/61460f2a3863ae0b84a8d7b1

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
