Where I am at.....(Part 4)
The Baylor 2023 recruiting class is now up to 21 commits as this has been a crazy June. Free State (KS) offensive lineman Calvin Clements kept things rolling with his commitment today and the momentum isn't quite done yet as there are still a few predictions still out there so let's talk about them a little....Arlington Lamar OL Isaiah Robinson - The 6-foot-7, 285-pound offensive tackle will be announcing his decision on July 4th. I know he and his family have had lots of conversations recently so they are nearing the end of the process. I think Baylor and Cal have a nice lead and ultimately I think after Baylor's official visit they pushed to the lead position. High ConfidenceLakeview Centennial OLB/DE Trey Wilson - I am sticking with feeling very good about Baylor's chances here. The staff has been consistent with him and he loved the Baylor official visit. Some of the commits also have a good relationship with him from all the unofficial visits and the official visit. High Confidence.Killeen Ellison DL Brendan Bett - I don't know what is taking so long outside of him going on visits but I feel like this one should be over. Baylor can't take a bunch more defensive lineman and I think they likely only have one spot left. I think Baylor is the choice here but nothing announced yet. Medium ConfidenceNorthwood (LA) DL TaDerius Collins - He is the other part of the defensive line equation. I am not sure what his timeline is as of right now but the staff definitely put themselves in the driver's seat in his recruitment. We will see what happens here but timing might be a big factor soon. Low Confidence.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
