Texas prospects react to hire
Pretty self-explanatory - Hopefully this can be a running thread with reactions from Texas recruits to the hire. Adding to it as we hear from guys.Drue Jackson on what he knows about Coach Matt Rhule "Just what my ESPN thing said - 20 wins in 2 seasons. I'm about to do research. I need to know who he is bringing with him, OC and WR coaches."Verone McKinley III "I honestly know he's had success at Temple, so I'm interested to see what he does."Just as an extra little tidbit, I've been in contact with 2016 QB David Moore at various times throughout this season. He was originally committed to SMU and flipped to Memphis. When reports were out that Chad Morris would be the next BU head coach, I was interested to hear his thoughts - he thought it would be a good hire, but not a homerun or anything. He sent me a message within minutes of the Rhule hire being announced, though, and said "Oh yeah, Baylor's gonna be good. I know he's not the biggest name, but he's a great coach and the players will like him a lot. I loved him when he offered me pretty early."Braylon Henderson "I heard he had a good team at Temple and I'm really excited for what he's gonna do next season and what kind of offense he's gonna set up for the Bears."Donovan Stiner "Don't know much about him but I am hearing great things." Stiner says he wants to speak with the new staff. Mohamed Sanogo "Temple coach has a good rep for getting the most out of his players. ... I'll talk to him once he gets in."

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
