A few Monday morning notes...
I'll be headed out for the day around 10:30 this morning, but had a few things I wanted to get up on the board first...- Don't expect Tommy Bush to make a decision before the end of his season. I still feel strong about where Baylor stands here, but he is the top option left on the board and Baylor will put all of their efforts into getting him while hanging onto their currenty WR commits. - Baylor is done at WR outside of Bush, which means that Jalen Knox (Mansfield Timberview) is likely off of the table. Baylor likes Knox as a running back, but he sees himself as a wide receiver which is why the Bears haven't and likely will not pursue him heavily now. - Similarly to Knox, any communication with Jaquayln Crawford (Rockdale) is probably going to be non-existent now that Barnes is on board. Things had been heating up a little, but don't expect that to move anywhere further.- Recent Baylor offer Ricky Williams out of Florida has seen offers from Syracuse and Rutgers since he received the offer from the staff. Both of those programs evaluate Florida heavily so I'm not surprised to see them follow Baylor's lead after seeing him this spring. - Cameron Wire is debating on graduating from high school early. He is ready to move on. The issue is that he is a basketball player and he feels that his team has a chance to win state. The best thing for Baylor here is that if he decides to do that. With the early signing period in play, Wire could sign in December before LSU had board in line to make the offer if they haven't already done so. Some close to the situation feel that Wire is Baylor's to lose. We will see how it pans out.- I've been saying it since he put out his top four, but I feel comfortable saying that Bralen Taylor will commit to Baylor. I don't see Texas offering at this time and even if they did, I don't know that it's necessarily a game changer despite what has been discussed publicly and on this board. He wants it, but what's his motive?- Baylor is the top school for 2019 DT Lloyd Murray even with his commitment to Florida State. Don't ask me to explain, it's the craziest thing I've heard. But it's true.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
