"One of the best the staff has seen at all camps" is what I was told about Wren. - Baylor is still out in the lead from LB Joey Ogunbanjo, but no time table is set for his decision. - Every two weeks that pass that no one offers Keondre Coburn's younger brother, my number goes up one percentage point. - I'm getting close to putting my predictions in for Gerry Bohanon and Connor Galvin to Baylor. I have them at 49% right now and 50% is typically the number I use for putting in a prediction. - Baylor is apparently still under pursuit of DT Calvin Avery out of Bishop Dunne. Damon is working on tracking him down for an update and when we get him, he will be added to the list. - Joey Ogunbanjo will definitely take an official visit to Baylor, but says he might also be on campus in late July for an unofficial visit... I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same time that Bohanon is supposed to be there.

Update on 2018 National Averages for Commits
I finished updating Baylor's 2018 class in our database a few minutes ago. Here is where all 13 of the players should stand on a national average which does not include SicEm365.Josh Fleeks - 90.7Stanley Hackett - 88.4 (ESPN recently took him from unranked to a 75 which brought his average down).Joshua Landry - 87.1Kalon Barnes - 86.8Jackson Kimble - 85.9 (This includes 247Sports rating of an 81. I'd expect that to go up.Christian Morgan - 85.8Casey Phillips - 84.6 (This includes Rivals rating of 5.4 2-star. I'd expect that to go up.)JT Woods - 84.6 Ylijaah Hall - 84.5Jackson Gleeson - 84.4JT Woods - 84.1Delarrin Turner-Yell - 83.8 (ESPN recently placed him at an 72 from unranked)Tyquan Thornton - 82.6 (Scout recently updated him as a 2-star from unranked)Really surprised that DTY was that lows on ESPN. The 72 places him as Baylor's lowest rated recruit in the class according to ESPN.

Insider Notes: Name to watch & new 2019 prospect
I spoke briefly with DE Randy Charlton out of Miami Southridge yesterday and he let me know that Baylor is definitely among his top five schools. The 6-foot-3, 220 pound DE/OLB picked up an offer from the Bears back on Feb. 28 and has since picked up offers from Indiana and Tennessee. He also holds offers from Illinois, Iowa State, and Mississippi State among a few others. That in itself isn't a massive piece of info, but an additional source passed along to us that Charlton might in fact be considering a commitment to Baylor sometime in the near future. This is not first-hand information so I tell you to take it with a grain of salt, but based on what I know and the pieces of the puzzle I have, it wouldn't surprise me at all. This also becomes intereting because Charlton is good friends with teammate and fellow Baylor offer James Head, another DE/OLB from Miami Southridge. Head (6-3, 220) holds very many of the same offers as Charlton, but you can also throw in Michigan State, NC State, Nebraska, and South Carolina. I don't know that they are a package deal, but if they both leave Florida, it wouldn't be a surpise to see them go together. Also, keep in mind that both of these guys are listed at larger than 6-foot-3 in multiple locations, but their measurements at The Opening were that. I went with the smallest height for both, but 6-4 for each wouldn't be a surprise. A second note... 247Sports only has their ranking for two of the four services currently while our averages have all three of the ones available. Charlton (85.8) and Head (86.5) are their averages from Rivals, Scout, and 247Sports. ESPN does not have either ranked at this time. There is an intriuging prospect beginning to emerge out of Argyle (TX) Liberty Christian for the 2019 class. His name is Isreal Isuman-Hundley and he is a 6-foot-6, 230-pound defensive end. He recently moved to the US from Nigeria with the hopes of playing basketball, but he was too small for his position as a center. His father introduced him to football and he fell in love with the game. He was set to play football last fall but was unable to for one reason or another. He has been in an off-season training program and will play this fall as a junior.Since he was unable to play football, Isuman focused some of his time on the track where he runs the 4x100, 4x200, open 200, and throws the shot put. https://twitter.com/sallee_dylan/status/840810191683743744The interesting thing here is that his mother actually went to Baylor. I don't know a lot of details other than she graduated in 1989 and that is his connection to the program.Do not be surprised at all if Baylor offers him in the very near future. Maybe today.Yes, you can notice I went ahead and put him as a four-star here on SicEm365. It might be a little soon for that, but this young man's potential is through the roof. Baylor is still continuing to evaluate both OL and RB prospects to add for the 2017 season. No new names at this time, but it's not off the table for either position.

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
