Small February finish for Baylor could still mean big things
Baylor sits at 21 prospects signed after the early signing period, and though they have two commitments on paper as February arrives, it's probably the best practice to wipe the slate clean and look for the best of the best to finish off the final three spots.
From the road
Guys - I apologize that I unexpectedly had to be on the road this week. I've made calls when I've had the opportunities and tried to continue to get some information despite it not being a priority right now.It sounds like I got here to some news that I was planning to pass along but I figure I might as well confirm it and add in some more.I still stand my prediction for Tyquan Thornton and have heard that one could do down as early as tomorrow.Last night I alluded to a commitment possibly today and that's still on the table to happen. That would be coming from The Boot.I am also hearing that Baylor is the team to beat for Dorian Hardy. I don't know who else has an offer on the table to him right now, but I do know there is more than one P5 team Baylor is competing with. As for Tommy Bush... Baylor will take both he and Thornton and I still feel good about Tommy. My last update I had him below Ty in my percentages but I would say those are closer to even now after a conversation today. Gerry Bohanon has gone a bit dark as of today. No one is really sure what is going on right now and he could be taking some time to think about things. I still feel confident in it, but he has a few days between now and Dec. 20. I'm stil expecting Daevon Robinson to be a Bear. He will commit as a DE if and when he does.
The predictions are in: Finishing Baylor's 2018 class
How will Baylor finish out their 2018 class? Here are my personal predictions on Baylor's chances of landing each of their remaining top targets.
The surprise visitor is....
New Jersey DE Dorian Hardy (6-5, 245)The staff has been doing their homework on him since he had his scholarship pulled from Penn State after a fight at his high school where he was punched by a coach and he hit a teammate and put him in the hospital with a concusssion.
