A couple of important visits today by the staff
The staff will be out to see uncommitted prospects Joseph Ogunbanjo and Cam Jones today. Both of these guys have already taken official visits to Baylor and the Bears are still in the mix for both. When I get more specific details on these two visits I'll pass along.

Some Friday morning notes
- ICYMI from the other threard, it looks like DT Will Jones and CB Jordan Tolbert will not return to the team for the spring and next season. Jones is searching for playing time elsewhere why Tolbert is likely going on a medical scholarship after suffering another ACL tear in the fall. - Also an ICYMI, four-star safety Cam Jones (Mansfield) is looking favorably at Nebraksa while his mother prefers Baylor. If you remember his interview with SicEm365 following his official visit to Baylor he mentioned that his mother preferred him being close to home. We will see how this one plays out, but I wouldn't discount Baylor at all in this one. - Baylor might be trying again to get Harold Joiner on campus. I haven't confirmed it by any means, but there are signs pointing in that direction. With Rhule's comments about RB depth being a concern, this shouldn't be a surprise. - In that same vein, Baylor has kept an open dialouge with Independence CC RB Rakeem Boyd. He has had multiple conversations with the staff and I'm waiting for him to fill me in on the latest. - Let me also add that I think you will see Jalen Hurd get some carries in critical situations this fall. He has the ability and willingness to do it, he just doesn't want 20 carries per game on his body. - Joseph Ogunbanjo is still set to visit Baylor next weekend. I'll put Baylor in a good spot for landing his commitment once again. I know there are mixed feeling on how talented he is, but I'm in the boat that he has the make up to be the best pass rusher from Texas. 12.5 sacks, 18 TFL as a senior. His lateral quickness is elite as well. When he's chasing sideline to sideline you can really see his speed. He can play with his hand in the dirt or in a two-point stance. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/3778448/5a24aa3e664b010e507976d7

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
