Prediction Tank: What's the latest on Baylor's top prospects?
On the SicEm365 Recruiting Prediction page, our staff gives their predictions for prospects that Baylor has offered from all over the country. In this segment, we revisit some of those predictions made previously and where we stand with them currently.
What about Preston Wilson's visit?
We plan to have some more details on Argyle offensive lineman Preston Wilson's visit from yesterday in the future, but I traded a couple of messages with him late last night after he arrived home after the visit."Freakin' awesome," Wilson said of the visit. "Too much to type. I had a great time. We should talk on the phone because there was so many good things about it!"I asked him directly if this put Baylor on top, but per typical, recruits are very savvy about tipping their hand. I've asked Wilson a similar question in the past and he answered in a similar way."Definitely top three. I still gotta take a few more visits but they impressed me a lot."From a secondary conversation I think the only school that would give threat to Baylor at this point is TCU, but the Horned Frogs have four OL commits and haven't exactly made a push (or an offer), though they are recruiting Wilson. To me, this recruitment has a feel much like Connor Galvin from 2018. A lot of speculation that Baylor is the leader, including other commits who have been told the same, and Wilson simply wanting to get out and visit. You can expect Wilson to have a decision sometime in the next month or so.
