Two official visitors this weekend (commits)
Kalon Barnes and Connor Galvin will be on campus this weekend for their official visits. Those will be the only two now that Jamarye Joiner has cancelled.

Weekend official visit update
Arizona QB Jamarye Joiner will not take his official visit to Baylor this weekend. With the hiring of Kevin Sumlin at Arizona this kind of was expected, but I've been told it was a mutual decision between Baylor and Joiner. That's two weekends in a row that Baylor has decided to not bring in any prospects. Well, that's the case for right now at least.

Updated list of late signing day official visitors
Baylor is looking to fill two to three more spots in their 2018 recruiting class for the late signing period. Who are the priorities? This is a look at the official visitors the Bears will bring in between now and the first weekend in February.

Add an unexpected official visitor for 1/26...
Arizona QB commit Jamarye Joiner (6-3, 205) of Cienega HS in Arizona told me a moment ago that he will take an official visit to Baylor on Jan. 26. He also holds offers from Arizona State and picked up an offer from Nebraska recently.I asked joiner if he was interested in Baylor and he responded by saying "very."We all know the situation that is unfolding at Arizona right now. Baylor is late to the mix here as well and won't really have a leg up on a new coach being hired for the Pac 12 program, but they are in it if they decide to offer. He only ran a 4.76 at The Opening regional but this kid can fly on film. Passed for 2,200 yards and rusher for 1,400 with 44 total touchdowns.Seems to me that he could be a take as a QB/ATH and redshirt to see what else happens. https://ww.hudl.com/video/3/8002779/5a14a5fb3448da27bcf5ce31

National Average Rating

The National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a SicEm365 rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the SicEm365 Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide SicEm365 readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Baylor and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Baylor and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
