There are plenty of reasons as to why Baylor’s 2020 offense could have taken such a drastic step back after being more than competent in 2019 as the program reached the Big 12 Championship game and played in the Sugar Bowl. New coaching staff, new offense, no Denzel Mims or JaMycal Hasty, and on and on. 

But maybe it was simply the fact that the offense was just too much.
