A casual review shows that the team is "early" in the process of understanding the O & D schemes.

O: running pro style spacing actions. Emphasis is on creating space for shooters to take uncontested shots. Strong emphasis to avoid contested shots in favor of ball movement to open shooters. Listen to CNC's comments of "if they do X you move to Y to create space". Analytics driven…..uncontested jumpers are better % options than heavily contested lane shots.

O: late in the video listen to Smith's comment about the HiLo feed……great illustrator of how densely packed the O was in past years.

O: those thinking lane scoring is over [and that the team will only shoot 3s] are sorely mistaken. Egbo and Smith will shoot fewer lane shots but probably score as many points in the lane due to better spacing. And Smith won't be picking up the high volume of charging fouls.

D: tons of D fundamental work. Those that thought that tough D was history will be shocked.

D: the growth area [as it is with every team this time of year] is rotations [nonexistent or late], secondary rotations (help the helper) [late or nonexistent], and recovery [laughably bad on one particular action]. With new schemes/rotations, this issue is to be expected and will get cleaned up with film sessions and game experience. For the Mulkeyists who will claim that her teams never faced this exact issue, example #1 is the Arkansas game last year. The rotations/secondary rotations/recovery were atrocious. Not bad, atrocious. It happens to every team with new schemes and/or starters.
