Postgame Takeaways: Baylor 99 Ark Pine-Bluff 54

Positives

• Dominated the glass 49-24.  Jonathan Tchamwa  Tchatchoua had a tremendous game with his activity on both ends (14 points and 13 rebounds).  
• Great to see Matt Mayer (4-5) and James Akinjo (2-4) hitting 3 pointers.
• Another productive day from our freshmen (Brown and Sochan) with 23 points on 13 shots.  
• I liked seeing Paul, Loveday and Turner get on the scoreboard at the end.  
• Defense really good at times, forced Pine-Bluff to 3-25 from 3 point range.  Did give up a lot of easy shots in the paint though.  
• Forced 18 turnovers, ball pressure suffocating at times

Needs Work

• Not Adam Flagler’s best game.  He had some uncharacteristic turnovers and bad shots for him.  
• A little sloppy with the basketball at times (12 turnovers).  
• Need to get better at free throws (16-26 for 62%).  
• Have to be pinpoint sharp against Nova
