Baylor-Texas Tech Preview: Why I Like Baylor in a Close Battle

With Mark Adams taking over for Chris Beard, Texas Tech (11-3, 1-1) takes on Baylor (15-0, 3-0) at 6:00 Tuesday in Waco. The game airs on ESPN2. 

“I wish you hadn’t brought that up because I was enjoying the win until you mentioned that,” Adams said in the postgame press conference when someone asked about getting ready for Baylor. He added, “Maybe as good as they (Baylor) were last year.” 

Adams served as Beard’s lead assistant.
