2018 class: Who's next?

Tuesday was a somewhat-expected swing and a miss for Baylor in its attempt to keep two in-state targets -- Sachse High School quarterback Jalen Mayden (Mississippi State) and Rockwall High School linebacker Alston Orji (Vanderbilt) -- close to home. Fortunately for the Bears, there are still plenty of athletes still available in the 2018 class.

And while nothing is set in stone, the Baylor coaching staff feels good about adding a few major targets to its 2018 class, which is currently 13 members strong. Here are seven names to keep an eye on as we prepare for summer recruiting. All names are listed in alphabetical order.
