Few articles bring tears to my eyes. This one did. CMR has the right perspective for life beyond football.

Rhule hires father for voluntary role helping develop program
Matt Rhule has repeatedly said he’s trying to make a community of great men at Baylor. He was on message again at the Big 12 Media Days, not only discussing making a “program and not a team,” but also revealing he’s hired his father to help.
"I actually just hired my dad at Baylor,” Rhule said during his press conference. “They just moved to Waco. All those years of mowing the lawn and all the things he made me do, I'm going to wear him out.”
Rhule went into depth explaining his dad — a minister and former high school football coach — will work with the players informally. It will be a six month role like his involvement with Temple last season helping develop players just leading by example hanging around practice and the player lounge.
“To have my father around to give perspective is wonderful,” Rhule later said. “I think it’s wonderful for our kids. So many of our kids maybe did not have had a great relationship with their father but in our program, they see my relationship with my father and they hopefully see my relationship with my son- if they didn’t have that, hopefully when they leave, they know that’s what it looks like. And I’m so grateful to my dad.
