Baylor the 1st Power 5 offer for 2019 CB Tre'Shon Devones
One of the most admirable traits of the new Baylor coaching staff is its
ability to recognize young talent before other Power 5 programs.
Tre'Shon Devones is considered a diamond in the rough in the 2019 class -- and Baylor was the first FBS school to take a chance on him. Last season, Devones, a cornerback, was one of only two sophomores named to the UIL All-District 7-6A defensive team. He had five interceptions and returned one for a touchdown. He also had a fumble recovery for a score.
Now, at 6 foot and 168 pounds, Devones has plans for an even bigger junior year. But because of his inability to make unofficial visits over the spring, Devones enters the season as something of an enigma.
Don't expect Devones to be a mystery for long -- particularly with him working on his body and his game over the summer.
