Five-Star 2027 Center Ogechi Okeke Commits to Baylor Women's Basketball

Five-star center Ogechi Okeke has committed to head coach Nicki Collen and Baylor women’s basketball. Okeke is the second player in the 2027 recruiting class to commit to the Bears, joining four-star forward Miciah “Mimi” Fusilier.

The 6-foot-4 prospect currently attends Fort Bend Hightower in Missouri City, Texas. Okeke boasts a 6-foot-9 wingspan and is among the best rebounders in the 2027 class.

Okeke visited Baylor last September on an unofficial visit and returned to Waco this weekend, where she committed to the coaching staff. She also visited Ole Miss, Rutgers, Miami, Arizona State and Houston. She held notable offers from TCU, Duke and Notre Dame, among others.

Okeke is ranked 13th nationally on ESPN.
