BREAKING: Baylor flips four-star WR from Florida Gators
Baylor has flipped four-star wide receiver Tyquan Thornton (Miami, FL/Washington) from the Florida Gators. He is set to sign on Wednesday, Dec. 20, the first day of the early signing period, and will enroll in classes in Waco for the spring semester.
Thornton, Baylor's third commitment of the week and the 22nd of the 2018 class, originally committed to Matt Rhule and the Bears in March. He then decommitted after receiving multiple other offers and eventually committed to the Florida Gators. Thornton also held offers from Georgia, Miami, Tennessee and several others.
Thornton set a personal record of 10.5 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.07 in the 200 meters as a junior in the spring.
Baylor was Thornton's second offer on the gridiron on March 22 second to Appalachian State.
