Second trap game and just as dangerous as the last one. What have they got to lose. If they beat us, they already have a successful season. A target is on the back of every jersey. If our team comes to play out of their love of the game and of their team, they will be fine. Mulkey will do her best to have them ready.

This is the one that bothers me the most as well. 3rd tough game in a row in cold and flu season with Kristi already coughing up a lung.

Everybody relocate your Wednesday night prayer meeting to the FC with a 6:30 p.m. tip off. At the end of the WVU game, Kim said she really needed everyone to turn out for this one.

Not too nervous for this one. It would take some major failings for us to lose on our own court at this point. As usual, I just don't see how they will be able to stop our bigs. Loryn Goodwin started the year hot, but her shooting numbers in Big 12 play have been atrocious. If that girl from Iowa State scored 39 on them, I can only imagine what Kristy will be able to do. They are also not a particularly strong rebounding team, so we should have our usual advantage on 2nd chance points. I doubt this game is competitive much after the first quarter.

"They're good, first of all. They played a lot of basketball in their life. They play at the highest-level summer teams. They got a little swag about them, like a lot of freshmen want to have but they have it because they can back it up. They just have a personality about them.

The part that really handcuffs freshmen in my program is they usually mess up on the defensive end. Those two don't mess up much on the defensive side of the floor. Their quickness allows them when they do mess up to quickly recover and yet they have knowledge of the game."

"Didi has a little bit up there in her neck and she'll go out there with Lauren and go play in the post and play with the best of them. You need me to go out there and guard outside, yeah, I'll go do that too.' When you look at her body, it doesn't look like she can do that but she's a lot stronger than you think," Kim Mulkey said.

Richards' versatility is what makes her a stand-out. Mulkey said Richards' determination to help the team and her underrated size and strength allow her to be so versatile on the court.
