Johncarlo Valentin officially a Bear after signing LOI

On Wednesday junior college offensive lineman Johncarlo Valentin‍ (6-5, 330) made things official with Baylor by signing his Letter of Intent after giving his pledge to the Bears on Jan. 14 following an official visit. Originally of Imhotep Inistitute in Philadelphia, Valentin spent his two years following high school at ASA College in New York.

Valentin signed with Baylor over offers from Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Temple and Texas. Valentin was part of Oklahoma's 2016 class where he was ranked a four-star prospect according to the industry average.

The signing of Valentin to Baylor's 2018 class gives Baylor a total of six offensive linemen. He joins high school prospects Jackson Kimble‍, Ylijaah Hall‍, Casey Phillips‍, Princeton Pines‍ and Connor Galvin‍.

Valentin is Baylor's lone junior college prospect in the class and is expected to make an immediate impact on the line for Baylor in the 2018 season.
