18-4 4th quarter. Jensen's shot over Kalani was their only bucket of the quarter.

She shot 64%. Its not uncommon for Kalani to start off shaky and then get hot throughout the rest of the game.

Glad to see Mulkey send Cox a message by making her sit after her little outburst. If anyone knows how to manage an outburst it's our jacket-throwing head coach. But good for Mulkey for using that as a teaching moment. I've actuallu been worried all season that Cox is going to cross the line with her temper. Glad it wasn't a BIG game.

This was one of the best performances I have seen from the Lady Bears in a long time (especially the first half). Our defense was relentless. Every time one of their bigs caught the ball, we would not allow them to turn and shoot. Just great help defense.

And, we had so many players stepping up. Wallace hit clutch shots and always hustled, Kalani and Cox are gettting better and better at passing to each other, Cohen hit a few in the lane, Morriss showed off her speed, and Juicy was fierce. Can you tell that I am excited?

Play like this in the tourney and we will be in the Final Four...

you've got to watch the Baylor post game presser. Kim went after the OSU beat writer for some squirrelish writing and condemnation... and she defended Jim Littell ... while Kalani and DeKeiya shrugged and smiled...

I wonder how much of it was for a lesson and how much was because she had 4 fouls.

Gotta love Mulkey and how brutally honest she is. She was ready for that guy and quoted a line from his write-up after the game in Waco.

Unprompted, going to bat for another Big XII coach. Pretty neatly putting a snarky writer in his place at the same time ("how'd you like to be down there bumpin' with 'em?").

And fans at other schools call her all manner of awful things because...what, she is too expressive during games? she complains at refs too much?

After reading the article CKM was referencing, I can see why she was a bit perturbed. I wonder if he'll think twice before writing another article about an OSU/Baylor WBB game.

This has been a well officiated game for the most part. Of course there are always gonna be a few questionable calls, but this crew has done a good job being consistent for both teams.
It's not going to make a difference in any blowout win, but when watching live (and confirmed when I re-watched the game since then) I thought it was very close to the worst reffing job of the year. Cox can't afford to do what she did, but the reason was the cumulative effect -- she was called for 3 fouls before the tech, and every one of them was a clean block. The calls on the perimeter were fine, but around the basket the refs had no clue. Brown also had a clean block (all contact was against the basketball) called a foul, and Cohen was incredulous about a foul called against her near the bucket.

I just hope we don't have that crew calling any game where the calls make the difference in winning and losing.

I would much rather have this crew than the one that called our game against OSU when we played them at home. I just really hope for consistency throughout a game I didn't think this crew was inconsistent.
