Seriously thinking about heading to Waco for Saturday's game vs. the Rash

I'm glad the commentators stopped fawning over Mo Bamba and the pro scouts gaggle long enough to acknowledge WE WON!

How big were those 2 missed FTs by UT after Maston's inexcusable technical?

About as big as the basket interference no-call that all 3 refs saw and still counted the bucket for Texas.

That made me so mad. But a great win!

It's amazing how much help the officials regularly feel they have to give Baylor's opponents, isn't it?

John Higgins was a part of that officiating crew. Probably just a coincidence........(yeah, right)..............

Maston is so fun to watch when he's in the mood. He could go for 22-26 tonight.

What if you, and a couple thousand other Baylor fans who don't usually get to many hoops games decide to do the same?

Difference maker.

It's like you are watching a completely different game. You complain about the rebounding - we OWNED them on the glass. Our guys ran our offense to near perfection, and you say we are stupid. Rough night for you, my fellow Bear.

K. That post was made after the dumb foul and horrific shot at the end of OT #1. There is no argument that we played those possessions stupidly.

We also out-rebounded them by 12 in large part due to the 20 some percent they shot in the first half but we had an extremely hard time keeping them to one and done's from about the 5:00 mark of regulation on. But hey, way to cherry pick a comment without looking for context! You're awesome!!!

And hold on... we ran our offense to "near perfection"?? Did you even watch the game or just peeped the highlights? It wasn't until Maston took over that the offense started to click. That first half was the worst combined half of basketball we've seen all season. **** outta here.

Also, once again, love this sort of Monday morning QB commenting 14 some hours after the game. Not a lot of disagreement at the time of the posts by others but, yeah, go ahead and call this one out if it makes you feel better.

Every away game in the Big 12 is hostile, be it 10,000 fans or 2. On TV it seemed they did get loud when they were making their runs.

We ran our offense to near perfection? We turned it over 14 times and in a few critical spots. Manu and Maston hit some tough, clutch shots to bail us out several times.

I think we had 14 offensive boards - that was our best offense for a while - and it actually created the game winner.

Rudy is one of the few good posters we have on this basketball board. You're barking up the wrong tree.

Appreciate it, friend. I'm all for vibrant discussion but this kind of Monday morning quarterbacking I can't stand. All the more reason to lock game threads the minute it goes final and open up a post game thread so context can be had more easily. No mention of the other posts at the exact same time by others claiming how dumb that foul was either.

It's funny when the premier posters dare to trudge around down here looking for scraps. Not sure they know that I was almost run out of BFans for being too much of a pollyanna!

All of this. It was an extremely sloppy game by both sides but BU's best two players played better than UTs best two.

I saw that post and started to respond but I am trying to be nice. It would be too easy to ask how we are running our offense to near perfection and equate that to turnovers, shot clock violations, and shots jacked up at the last second of the possession. The bottom line is that comments made in a gamethread need to stay in the gamethread for context and the emotions of the moment.

I am getting better. I really am.

You know, it is pretty obvious that our difficulties in shooting by guards had Drew push these guys to put it on the floor and go inside. Dump off or let Vital or Jo rebound for a putback. Drew has done a good job of making a silk purse out of a sow's ear. What we hope is that we can have more games where Omot, Maston, or maybe King are hot and Drew will ride the hot hand. We have two wins out of that in the last two weeks.
