On Monday morning Baylor head coach Matt Rhule told the media on the Big 12 teleconference  that starting quarterback Charlie Brewer is currently in concussion protocol and will continue to go through steps to be cleared for a home game against Oklahoma State on Saturday.

Brewer left the game in the second quarter against West Virginia last Thursday in Morgantown and did not return.

On the season the sophomore has thrown for 1,820 yards and 10 touchdowns against six interceptions while completing 60.5 percent of his passes.

Baylor faces Oklahoma State on 11 a.m. CT on Saturday morning. The game will be televised live on FS1.

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Did he indicate whether or not he expected him to play?

You're either cleared by doctors to play or you're not. If you're currently in concussion protocol, then you're not cleared to play.

That could change today or tomorrow. Concussions just work that way. Usually, your starting QB needs to be at practice on Tuesday for a Saturday game to install the plan, but Baylor might work it differently.

Best of luck to him.
