Big 12 Power Rankings: After Week 10
With three games left in the regular season, the Big 12 race is beginning to take on a true shape. With a couple of powers and the "rest of the league" following behind, who is primed for a run to the Big 12 Championship game?

1. Oklahoma (8-1; 5-1)

Oklahoma's defense hasn't seen a ton of change since firing Mark Stoops, but the offense continues to roll and that's all they need to find themselves a trip to the Big 12 Championship game. The trip to Morgantown to end the season looms large, but the Sooners can still get there if the Longhorns slip up again.
2. West Virginia (7-1; 5-1)
W - West Virginia 42, Texas 41

Who knows if their loss to Iowa State was a fluke or not, but the WVU offense continues to push forward and the Mountaineers control their own destiny to win the conference by winning out. Their two-point conversion in Austin was a gutsy move and it paid off.
3. Iowa State (5-3; 4-2)
W - Iowa State 27, Kansas 3

This isn't the same Iowa State team that lost to Iowa 13-3 to open the season. Brock Purdy is one of several young QBs in the league who can do serious damage while the defense can hang with the best offenses in the league. The Cyclones will need some help to get to the championship game, specifically an Oklahoma win in Morgantown.
4. Texas (6-3; 4-2)
L - West Virginia 42, Texas 41

Texas has definitely improved but they probably aren't elite as everyone once thought they were earlier this season. Two tough losses in a row and the Longhorns are reeling heading into matchups with Texas Tech and Iowa State.
5. Texas Tech (5-4; 3-3)
L - Oklahoma 51, Texas Tech 46
Previous: 5
Tech gave Oklahoma everything they wanted but lost quarterback Alan Bowman in the process as well. If Bowman can return to the field this season the Red Raiders have a chance to get to a bowl game, but it will be much easier with him in the huddle on Saturdays.
6. Baylor (5-4; 3-3)
W - Baylor 35, Oklahoma State 31
Previous: 7
So far Baylor has handled the teams below them in the power rankings and fallen short in games with those ahead of them. The win over Oklahoma State was critical in their chances for a bowl game this season and though they face Iowa State this weekend, a home game against TCU could be the one that gets them back to postseason play.
7. Oklahoma State (5-4; 2-4)
L - Baylor 35, Oklahoma State 31
Previous: 9
The Cowboys came up short against Baylor after their big win against Texas and now travel to Norman to take on Oklahoma. Mike Gundy's team has been incredibily inconsistent this season and with games against the Sooners, Mountaineers and at TCU left, they need to be on the upswing at least once to get back to a bowl game.
8. TCU (4-5; 2-4)
W - TCU 14, Kansas State 13
Previous: 6
TCU continues to lose key pieces but they picked up a very important win over Kansas State Saturday to make improve their chances of reaching a bowl game considerably. It will still be an up-hill battle, however, with road trips to WVU and Baylor and a final home game against Oklahoma State.
9. Kansas State (3-6; 1-5)
L - TCU 14, Kansas State 13
Previous: 8
Possibly the most disappointing season for Wildcat fans in quite a while. Things looked to be back on track with a win over Oklahoma State, but a blowout loss to Oklahoma and road loss to TCU has Kansas State needing to win their final three games to get back to a bowl.
10. Kansas (3-6; 1-5)
L - Iowa State 27, Kansas 3
Previous: 10
Their big win over TCU wasn't enough to save David Beaty's job. Road games at Kansas State and Oklahoma plus a home battle against Texas will close out their regular season.
