When Tech sets their picks up high they consistently stick the legs and hips out fouling the defender but no calls.

Egbo finishes better than Cox or KB. Our freshmen are going to create some record.

These young players are carrying the load today. I'm impressed with their immediate impact!

Wow. Carr for Tech is 7-of-27 through three quarters. Holy Andrea Riley!

All 5 players sprinted in transition after that steal. Speedy group on the court.

Did the announcer just say that Sophia Young was on our 2011-12 team? Uhhhh, no.

Still no DeCosta or Bickle.

Really knowledgeable broadcast team today. I like the coach/color comentator, except for the aforementioned error...

Other then when the play by play commentator called us UConn, said Brown was the Pac-12 player of the year and mentioned Sophia Young as a part of the 2012 championship team, it's been good.

I'm wondering if DeCosta is injured again.

Edit: Nevermind she's in with 30 seconds left in the game.

Kim is not going to be happy with how the girls have played in the 4th quarter.

The last couple minutes of the 4th was ugly. Kinda upset that DeCosta only played the last thirty seconds.

The players that are wearing knee braces just can't move. Grayson always tugging at hers.

Great game for Egbo and Jackson. Team was well prepared. I enjoyed the guys that broadcast the game for FoxSW.

Not half the fire in the girls today as they had with UConn. Play the level of the competition I guess. Cox was off bad today. Missed two bunnies and could only hit the front of the rim from outside. Juicy just blended in and did very little. If it hadn't been for Egbo we might have lost this game. She really brought it to the floor today. I'm listening to the red raider radio right now and there crowing like as if the won.

Kim didn't hide her frustration in the post-game radio interview. "We should have won this game by 30..." Called out lack of conditioning and focus for the missed shots and defensive lapses. Was very complimentary of Queen. I don't know if KRZI archives those interviews, but if you can find it, it's worth a listen, for Kim provides a crystal clear picture of Kim Mulkey's passion for the game and her approach to teaching young women how to play the game. The line that stands out iis "...there's no better lesson than sitting on that bench." After blowing off some steam, she pivoted to say "...you understand, I'm happy with the win. But we have a lot of work to do."

Queen Ekbo provided a very clear, thoughtful interview--appreciative of the PT and how she is learning to play D1 WBB.

Hey, it's a win in Lubbock after the biggest regular season win in program history. I call that good There were other bright spots besides Queen. The future gleams ahead.

Sand, I second everything that you said about the postgame interviews. Mulkey is demanding, but if there is ever a need for that it is after a team builds a lead of thirty points and then in less than a quarter the young players who are dying to get on the court, once there become something of an embarrassment with how they used their time out there.

Egbo was as impressive in that interview as she was on the court. What an articulate, mature young woman. She gained a big fan today....

Egbo is as solid and steady as Stephanie Blackmon, but has more athleticism.

It should have been a 25-30 point win for the Baylor Lady Bears if Kalani Brown and Lauren Cox had played longer, but Kim Mulkey wanted her bench to get playing time. 17-point victory is a bit deceptive. Nevertheless, Queen Egbo had her best performance as a Lady Bear with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Nylyssa Smith also played well again. Chloe Jackson is really showing some leadership at the guard position. 1 down and 17 to go during 2019 Big XII regular season play. Home conference opener is Wednesday night.
