BREAKING: OL Paul Matavao-Poialii signs with Baylor over UCLA, Colorado

Baylor has landed a commitment and signature from 2019 offensive lineman Paul Matavao-Poialii‍ (Daly City, CA/Jefferson) over the likes of UCLA, Missouri, Colorado, Oregon State and Kansas. Matavao picked up an offer from the Bears in December and took an official visit to Baylor before the early signing period.

Matavao-Poialii (6-4, 330) was a late bloomer out of the San Francisco area and was made a priority by Baylor assistant coaches Shawn Bell and Joey McGuire. 

Known as “PMP” to Baylor fans, the California prospect played and excelled on both the offensive and defensive line as a high school prospect.
