Wow, what a complete team effort! What a complete team! I'm stating the obvious, but these ladies have a chance to really do something special.

The home crowd seemed to put a little extra gas in the tank and no one looked tired tonight. That was 40 minutes of lock-down defense.

The freshmen held their own too, with a few extra minutes down the stretch, especially defensively, earning them a little more trust, I imagine.

If our guards continue to shoot reasonably well and injuries aren't a factor, then I'm not sure there's a team in the country who is better than BU night after night. The Achilles Heel for this program for the last few years has been outside scoring, especially from the 1. With Jackson and Landrum, there is so much more balance offensively. You now make teams pay from packing the paint to defend Brown.

Richards is still a liability offensively but she's so active and disruptive defensively, I'll take four scoring threats all day long. If Didi shoots reasonably well at Iowa State, BU probably wins that game by at least 20. She finished 4-9 from the field, but missed several open jumpers pretty badly. She has been shooting better this year overall, so I'm hoping that general trend continues. She is beginning to make a living on cutting to the basket weak side.

If I had an MVP this year for BU, I'd vote for Cox. Against UT, 13 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks, 0 turnovers, and 1 personal foul. She's the glue of this team defensively and being a threat from the outside frees up all kinds of space for Brown and Richards as a cutter.

Great team effort tonight. The team is ready for the NCAAs right now. I almost wish they didn't have to play in the conference tournament. Give the frosh more playing team when possible and rest those starters.

Can't help but feel we're playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end. Sure wish Moon had 3 or 4 more inches height, or one of our other players who is a scoring threat could step up their defensive game to meet CKM's approval.
