Baylor (19-10; 10-6) drops a hard fought road game against Kansas State (22-7; 12-4) 66-60. The loss drops Baylor to 4th in the Big12. Next game is Wednesday night at 8pm CST at the Ferrell Center versus Oklahoma State for senior night.
Positives
- Outrebounded KSU 37-27
- Good defensive intensity all night. Held KSU to 1.00 points per possession which is winning basketball.
- KSU only 5-17 from 3 point range (29%).
- King McClure helped his team. 7 points and 7 rebounds in 19 minutes.
Needs Work
- Didn't get enough clean looks from 3 point range. Only 10 attempts from Butler, Mason and Bandoo combined.
- Disastrous ball handling. 19 turnovers will get you beat most nights.
- Missed opportunities at the free throw line. 12-20 on the night.
- Allowing a 17-0 run in the first half. Hard to overcome that.
