Baylor (20-14) sees their season come to an end against Gonzaga (32-3) with a 81-73 loss.   The Bears 3 point magic came to an end (4-21).  Great season overall considering the injuries and inexperience.  Future is bright.

Positives
  • This team never quits.  Love the effort.
  • Great season overall.  If you would have told me that we would have this opportunity to go to the Sweet 16 after a 9-5 start, I would have thought that was crazy.
  • Overcame a lot of injury issues all season long.
  • Happy to see King McClure play well in his last game as a Bear.
  • Thank you Makai Mason.  You gave us a lot of great memories this year.
Needs Work
  • Need an impact big next year to go along with Tristan Clark next year to have a national title contender.  Clark and Gillespie is a good start but we need one more guy unless Thamba has an off-season for the ages.
  • Defense has to get a lot better next year.  Gonzaga makes a lot of teams look terrible on defense but we have a long way to go.
  • Live and die by the 3.  4-21 tonight was not good enough to get it done obviously.
