The women's heats start at 9:35am and Baylor's team of Demitra Carter, Sydney Washington, Kiana Horton and Raven Grant will run in Heat 2, Lane 5. The men's heats are scheduled to start at 9:55am and the Bears will run out of Lane 4 in Heat 5. The listed order is Ian Braxton, Isaiah Cunningham, Maxwell Willis and Kalon Barnes.

The W100H and M110H will run at 10:15am and Baylor's Kennedy Bailey will run in Heat 4 and Alex Lord will run in Heat 11. JT Woods was scheduled to be in Heat 4 for the men before his injury.

Kalon Barnes will be in Heat 1, Lane 2 of the M100 at 10:45am. The final is scheduled for Saturday at 3:18pm.

The Lady Bears dropped the baton on the second exchange and DNF the W4X100. It was butter fingers all around as Texas and Texas Tech also left the stick on the track. Texas A&M (43.46) had the fastest qualifying time, followed by LSU (43.80).

Now that seems out of the blue! I had no idea Alex was capable of anwhere near 45'. The only Bear to ever exceed that mark is the great Stacey Smith who is now her coach. Stacey only had three jumps ever longer than this one.
