And then there were two left in the Greensboro Regional. The number one seed Lady Bears and number two seed Iowa Hawkeyes with a chance to go to the Final Four. The Hawkeyes lost six games in the regular season, but hasn’t tasted defeat since February 21. The one time the Hawkeyes faced superior athleticism from a top ranked opponent, Notre Dame blitzed Iowa 105-71 in South Bend. All six losses for Iowa were on a neutral floor or on the road.

The odds of winning it all have gone up since pre-tournament haven't they? Seems like BU was around 20% before game one in a thread I saw. I guess the large MOV in the tournament games played so far has boosted the predicted outcome. Of course no one gave Louisville any chance of winning a few years back so the team needs to put it on paper tonight.

Unless, we just lay a total egg, I am feeling very confident. If we can hold Gustafson without doubling, turn out the lights. Their guards will not be able to just stand out there and fire open 3s. We will run 'em off the 3 point line and I don't see them being athletic enough to take us off the dribble. Is Gustafson any better than the Cal girl? I'm not convinced. Kalani and Lauren don't need to utilize the volleyball spike block. Hands up will be enough. Gotta stay out of foul trouble. I think Megan is in for a rude awakening. Lady Bears by 15+. Sic 'em !!!

Baylor will play Iowa for the 2nd time. The Lady Bears defeated the Hawkeyes 4 years ago in the NCAA WBB Tournament. It's going to be fun to watch the inside scoring duos for Baylor and Iowa tonight on ESPN2. They could cancel each other out, leaving the difference in the outcome with the guards. I know some are expecting a blowout by the Baylor Lady Bears, but I think the Iowa Hawkeyes will keep the score close until the end of the 3rd Quarter. Baylor should gradually take control, as the 4th Quarter progresses. A 10-15 point win seems likely for Baylor tonight.

Quite possible. However, the Lady Bears have had a few great wins this year in which the separation came in the 4th quarter. I guess it depends on what you call a blowout.
