WACO, Texas – Baylor track & field heads to College Station for “The Reveille” hosted by Texas A&M Saturday in what will be the first meet at the new E.B. Cushing Stadium.

“We are excited to be going down to College Station this weekend to help Coach Henry and Texas A&M open up their new facility,” head coach Todd Harbour said. “They were here when we opened ours a few years ago, so we are excited for the opportunity to do the same. It will be another great meet and we’re hoping to continue to build on the successes we have enjoyed the last three weeks.”

Baylor enters this weekend with 10 athletes in the NCAA top 20, while 16 Bears are in the top three in the Big 12.

This past weekend at the Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, Alex Madlock stole the show by becoming the No. 2 triple jumper in the NCAA this season (No. 1 in the Big 12) with a mark of 45-3. The sophomore from Bangs, Texas, also moved into the No. 2 all-time performer spot at Baylor behind Coach Stacey Smith (Bowers).

In the final of the Texas Relays men's 400-meter hurdles, Jayson Baldridge lowered his season-best time to 50.63 to finish in third place. He holds the top 400-meter hurdles time in the Big 12 this outdoor season, and currently stands at No. 6 in the NCAA.

KC Lightfoot is coming off a third-place finish at the Texas Relays, and is ranked No. 3 in the NCAA with a mark of 18-5.25 (set at the USC Trojan Invitational). He is also No. 1 in the Big 12.

Competition in College Station includes host Texas A&M, the Arkansas women’s team, Clemson, Illinois, Oklahoma, Texas, and Texas Tech. Baylor will send 55 athletes to College Station, looking to improve upon season bests and PBs heading into the final home meet of the season in two weeks.

Baylor debuted at No. 13 in the men’s national ratings index and No. 23 in the women’s rankings.

The Bears are off next weekend before returning home to host the Michael Johnson Invitational April 19-20 at Clyde Hart Track & Field Stadium.

Where is that photo from? Pretty sure it's not from our track stadium. This meet is loaded with competition. Now that the aggies have a fancy outdoor track to go with their indoor facility it will be extra hard to win recruiting battles with them. Hopefully, some track athletes will realize that it's just not wise to become an aggie.

Meet was in a weather delay, and that will cause a large number of scratches.

SO Tuesdi Tidwell won the WPV with a jump of 13' 11 3/4". KC Lightfoot scratched in the MPV.

Wil London ran the second leg on the 4X400, but I didn't get a split on him.

Thanks to my WatchESPN app and the SEC+ Network I was able to watch most of the meet on my phone.
