BREAKING: Baylor offers, receives commitment from Oklahoma safety

Baylor offered 2020 Lawton, Oklahoma safety Chateau Reed‍ on Tuesday morning and the 6-foot-3, 180-pound prospect committed to the Bears on the spot. Reed camped with the Bears earlier this summer. 

Reed is Baylor’s seventh commitment in the 2020 recruiting class and the second of the month of June joining Lancaster defensive back Theron Stroops‍.

2020 BAYLOR FOOTBALL COMMITMENT LIST

As a junior Reed caught 39 passes for 775 yards and 11 touchdowns and totaled six tackles and an interception on defense. The interception was returned for a touchdown. Reed returned nine kickoffs with an average of 29.8 yards per return with a touchdown and two punts for an average of 24.0 yards.
